Snapshot 4.0.63 binaries

This weekend I built binaries for 4.0.63 snapshot. Kopete should now work with jabber too.
For the next snapshot we plan to integrate okular - poppler, freetype and fontconfig are already built but we need some more time to test things :)

Great work!
When will MSVC Express 2008 be supported as compiler? I read that it is planned; as I'm a bit tight on HD space I don't want to install both 2005 and 2008.

From my side I don't think we will release binaires for 2008 in the near future. Compiling qt and kde with msvc2008 can already work, but was not tested by me. If it doesn't work we accept patches to fix it :)

What would you advise to users -- install MinGW or MSVC or builds? I tried MinGW build of 4.0.63, and had horrible experience: Kopete launched once (even though I tried several times) but crashed pretty soon anyway (when I tried to edit identity), Amarok couldn't play an OGG file, Kate showed an error dialog on my every try to open a file, and from time to time it couldn't open a file, saying I don't have rights to access it (though then it opened the same file)

Will I get the same experience with MSVC builds?

Oh, and after installing this build, I had a message that mingwm10.dll was missing, had to download it manually.

Anyway, thanks for you doing the great job on bringing KDE apps to Windows! I hope things will get more stable before 4.1 comes out.

in general there should be no differences between mingw and msvc builds. msvc builds are smaller and I personally use msvc for debugging.
